Listening to Nigel Farage address the European Parliament today made me feel ashamed to be British. His words are full of bile, like a bully in a school playground. This isn't how I want my country to be represented.
I hope that in time, Europe and the world will forgive us.
British politcs needs to be rid of hyperbole, half-truths, deception and political self-interest. It needs to stop now. What ever happened to looking after the greater social good and caring for the welfare of all?
