Personal Interests
My interest in computers quickly accelerated when I acquired a modem as a child. By my teens I operated subscription-based 3 node FidoNet NetMail dial-up BBS which remained open to the public for 5 years.
I have a keen interest in British and American politics, world history and language. I am a regular BBC Radio 4 listener, enjoy amateur photography and independent and art-house films.
I am a mechanical keyboards enthusiast, and have rekindled my interest in FreeBSD out of necessity to maintain my sizeable home lab ZFS storage requirements.
