My interest in computers quickly accelerated when I aquired a modem as a child. By my teens I operated subscription-based 3 node FidoNet NetMail dial-up BBS which remained open to the public for 5 years.
I have a keen interest in British and American politics, and international current affairs. I am a regular BBC Radio 4 listener, enjoy amateur photography and obscure independent and foreign films.
Recently I have discovered a bizzaire interest in mechanical keyboards, and have rekindled my interest in FreeBSD out of necessity to maintain my sizable home lab ZFS storage requirements.
