I am a highly skilled and motivated UNIX system administrator (RHCE, VCP), currently seeking SRE and DevOps roles within complex technical environments. I have excelent diagnostic and analytical skills, and pride myself on completing tasks quickly and to the highest possible standard the first time around.
I have been described as "the engineer you call after your usual 'go-to' expert fails to fix your problem". I believe most problems can be optimised, automated or solved as a software problem.
Frequent work abroad and at customer sites earlier in my career, particularly training groups of customers, have made me confident in customer facing roles, as well as training and mentoring. While I strongly wish remain in a primarily technically focused position, I would be comfortable in technical lead and limited management roles.
